Tory and Ashley, a couple of Wisconsinites in the Florida panhandle who thought Pioneering, Cargo Ship witnessing, and Cart Work wasn't busy enough....
So in 2015, Ashley embarked on this wonderful (sometimes stressful) and always love driven work of scripture based jewelry and accessories. From humble beginnings as “The Bloom Emporium” (Ashley's lovely plant drawing pendants) quickly turned into what “Gingers Five and Dime” is today. We have experienced joy, tears
( of all kinds), but most of all encouragement being able to share our handcrafted goods with our worldwide brotherhood.
Ashley is the creative mind and constant thinker of our shop. Her eyes are constantly on the lookout for inspiration wherever we are. She gets that look and you know she is creating something wonderful. Although its not always easy with a auto immune disease, She carries on putting love into every aspect of her work. She is also the fastest button maker on our team coming in at a cool 400 per hour.
Tory is your friendly neighborhood customer service agent and no question is too tough ( after consulting his wife). The official button maker, not quite as fast on the button machine but definitely not slow
( although Amber likes to say so.) The dad joke teller of the shop, printing department, and jack of all trades (according to him) master of none (according to everyone else).
Amber is another regular pioneer who helps us out when the workload gets high. She can be found making buttons, singing, dancing, and teasing Tory at any given moment. Our resident Texan along with her husband Mike who is there for moral support and handyman services.
Joanie is another wonderful sister who helps us out by prepping the button designs, commenting on how adorable all the designs are, as well as spell checking which is probably the most vital. She also assembles those wonderful postcards and bookmarks everyone loves so much! We wouldn't run so smoothly without her much needed help.
From our state of the art facilities (our coffee table in the living room) to our brothers and sisters, we hope you are encouraged and feel the love!
